Wenatchee Valley Cross

WVCAdmin

Ron Bonwell

Tonight the cross shines brightly over our beautiful valley in loving memory of our father, husband and grandfather Ron Bonwell, he was the strength of this family, everyone that knew him loved him, even when he forced his opinion on them. He was usually right. He is finally free of the horrible disease that took his life, Idopathic pulmonary fibrosis. We will miss you in this life but shall someday see you again. We love you and miss you terribly.
Paula, Laura, Darla, Rhonda and all your grandchildren, and the one on the way 🙂

James A. Miller

Tonight the cross shines brightly over our beautiful valley in loving memory of my father James A. Miller. My father was a man of silent strength. Everyone that knew him loved him. I couldn’t have been more proud of my dad. He is finally free of a body that gave him so many struggles and so much pain. “Spread your wings and fly. We will be miss you in this life but shall someday see you again. I love you Dad.” ^j^

My Mom was born today, 64 years ago. She loves to look at the cross when its lit high upon the mountain. She can see it really good from her back yard in East Wenatchee.

Robert and Catherine Flom

This evening the descendants of Robert and Catherine Flom and a few extended
family members meet to enjoy their Family Christmas. This past year we have
seen: several births, deaths, and marriages; the health of many members go up and down; and many other joys and tribulations that life has brought our way. Still, through all of this, we acknowledge that none of this is
accomplished without the Love of Christ in our lives. That is why tonight I
light the Wenatchee Valley Cross… so that we are reminded of Christ’s
love not only for my family but to all of you as well. May 2011 be a year
filled with Christ’s love, good health, happiness, and prosperity!!!

***Meema Mathews***

The cross is lit this Christmas Eve night in honor of my grandma Lorrie Mathews. She will always have a special place in our hearts and we remember her smile and warm laugh. She is with the Lord now but she is watching over us, on Christmas and always.
Merry Christmas

Barbara Chamblee Smith

The cross is lit from November 21, 2010 through November 28, 2010 in memory of Barbara Chamblee Smith Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all

Barbara left this earthly world on November 21, 2007 after a nearly five year, courageous battle against ovarian cancer. She was memorialized on November 28, 2007 which would have been her 68th birthday. Barbara had a profound effect on many people who miss her dearly.
The world is a better place because Barbara was in it. We, her family and friends, are blessed to have had her with us, even though the time was too short.

“Those who gave our lives beauty shall live forever in our hearts.”

We miss you, Mom. Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Birthday.
