Wenatchee Valley Cross

At The Foot Of The Cross...

I would like to dedicate the cross to God's glory. We want you to have the opportunity to be involved in this gift to the community. If you would like to Sponsor the Cross for a special night we would love to light it for you. For details please visit our Support page. We would like to thank Kevin G. for letting us put the cross on his property. Please respect his property and do not visit the cross site. Thank you! Randy

WOW… My how God works things out…

WOW…. My how God works things out. If we could only be as patient.

The helicopter had some mechanical issues and had to be trucked back to Cal. so we lost the use of it.

The good news is that we have a boom truck donated by Star Rentals and a operator donated by Industrial Electric & Mechanical to take it down.

Hope this will all happen at 4 PM today…GOD willing of course.

Thanks for your support.

Randy and Crew.

The cross will be lifted Maybe Sunday or Monday…

Waiting for the helicopter to finish with the Uncontrolled “Controlled” burn at beehive. When that is finished the cross will be lifted Maybe Sunday or Monday morning about 9 am to Wenatchee Heights and laid down until we can get the site prepared. .

Stay tuned for more info. GOD Bless.

Update on moving the cross…

As of Friday Sept. 11th the arms of the cross are gone. We will be moving the cross as soon as a place becomes open. We have a site in mind just some legal stuff to get settled.

Thank you to Zac Woolbright, Steve Johnson and David Lane for the help on Friday.

Thanks to the Community for your support. Hope to have some great new features on the cross when we get it back up.

Stay tuned and GOD bless.

Randy and Crew.

For Emma Briggs on her 18th birthday…

Psalm 25:4-5

Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths, guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.

For Emma Briggs on her 18th birthday. May the words of Psalm 25:4-5 be the prayer of your life. It is our prayer for you.

With all our love, Mom, Dad, Elisabeth and Laura.

In Honor of Kade Whitaker and Linda Bull…

May 22nd, 2004, Kade Whitaker (my brother) died at the age of 16 in a car accident. Linda Bull, my grandmother, also died in this accident. My mother, Lisa Whitaker, loves the cross over Wenatchee. I thought having it lit on the 22nd may help keep her mind on the Lord on that difficult day. Basically, my hope is that Lisa will be able to look at this anniversary from a Godly perspective.

In Honor of Onna…

Onna knew and loved the Lord and had faith and trust in God

that he was in control during her illness.

Her life here with us was a true testimony of that faith

and she hoped that others would come to know Christ as she did.

Onna, your light did shine.

In loving memory of Michelle Barnett…

In loving memory of Michelle Barnett, who passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 17, 2009.
Let the lighting of this cross give comfort, love, and peace to family who are mourning her death.
Let the Lord carry you through these difficult times, and may this light tonight celebrate the life Michelle lived and strength for Hunter and David as they deal with their loss.
Love, Hunter’s Sterling Intermediate School Family

As an offering to the Lamb of God…

The cross is shining tonight as an offering to the Lamb of God for the men in our lives and in the Wenatchee Valley . We pray they will look upon the Cross of Christ and receive salvation , encouragement ,and a special empowerment from the Lord on this Passover Day and always.

God’s Girls

In Honor of Marlene Tate…

Marlene Tate passed way Sunday after a long battle with back problems.

The arthritis in her back made it painful everyday.

It comforts us to know she is now in no pain.

She loved to watch the us boys’ play in all our sports and was our biggest fan!

She loved collecting deer figurine or anything else associated with them.

Crocheting making blankets for all the family and was the most giving

person you would meet.

All the Tate and VanHoven famliy miss her dearly but we knew she was a

Christian and is now in Heaven.

In Honor of Laura Ann Meyers and Wendy Marie Booth…

Valentine’s Day in honor or our beautiful and precious daughters who love the Lord. Their names are: Laura Ann Meyers and Wendy Marie Booth. Laura is a wonderful missionary and Bible scholar and teacher. Wendy and her husband, Brandon, have two children, Micah 3 and Anna-Elena 1.

In memory of Earl H. Nelson Jr…

In memory of Earl H. Nelson Jr., loving family man, devoted friend, loyal employee, a man with a gentle and loving heart. He loved his Lord and died in peace knowing that he would be whole once again. I can’t help but believe he is skiing the best powder slopes with old friends, fishing for the biggest salmon and playing with his dog, Sutton, who never left his side in his last years. Earl Nelson was a good man; he loved and was loved by all who knew him.
